History

1954
Founding of the company HS-Leuchten by Heinz Struck. Production of interior and domestic lamps in a small workshop in Bergheim, Westphalia.

1965
Consequential development of new products, particularly for the brewing industry.

1969
Development of the copper pendant luminaire 010/305 A, the best-selling illuminated brewery sign for interiors in the last 35 years.

1972
The product assortment is modified. The first illuminated sign elements for outdoor areas are designed and produced serially. Shortage of space leads to the construction of a new manufacturing facility with 1,000 square meters in Steinheim.

1980
Company founder Heinz Struck is killed in a traffic accident. Mrs. Käte Struck takes over business management.

1991
Turbulent expansion through the discovery of new markets and the introduction of innovative manufacturing processes lead to the enlargement of the existing manufacturing facilities to 3,000 square meters.

1994
Business management is taken over by Markus Struck, son of company founder.

1996
Development of Polish market and new construction of a production facility in Ostrowiec, Poland.
With the most modern CNC-driven sheet metal punching machines, lasers and edging presses, sheet metal forming is done primarily for advertising elements for the Polish market, as well as a sub-supplier for many well known European companies from various sectors.

1999
Increased order volume and expansions in the manufacturing-technical area lead to the acquisition of a 7,000 square meter large production and storage depot at the current location.

2000
Joint venture with the company Quattro Werbetechnik of Herten, North Rhine Westphalia. Service provider for project development and nationwide installation/assembly.

2001
Installation of a graphic arts studio for the development of new advertising lines.

2002
Joint venture with the company WVG-Alu-tec of Breuna, Hesse. Manufacturer for cast aluminum elements for the furniture and automobile industry among other things, and the home production of illuminated advertising signs and other constructions for illuminated signs.

2004
In the 50th year of its existence, the company was able to successfully complete various projects in cooperation with associated companies, including refitting 3,700 subsidiaries of the state-run Toto-Lotto GmbH of Baden-Württemberg with new indoor and outdoor advertising.

2005
Within the scope of a conversion 1500 marketpartners of the RWE Systems AG were equipped with a new light advertisement.

2006
In the course of the Fifa World Cup about 5000 SportBars of Premiere got a new outdoor advertising. Further Struck-Leuchten produced about 600 balls that were lightning in all World Cup cities on top of the telephone cabins of the Deutsche Telekom.
A new concept of outdoor advertising was developed and converted by Struck-Leuchten to these clients.

2007
A modern and fully air-conditioned building for silk screen printing has been erected on the 1000 m² company site at the Steinheim location. In addition to the latest machinery for silk screen printing, the use of environmentally friendly and process-safe UV colours played an increasing role and thus the equipment had to be designed UV-colour-compatible.

The servicing area was increased. The fully owned subsidiary St-Service is exclusively concerned with project management and logistics, among others, for the Warsteiner brewery, the Frankenheimer brewery, the Herforder brewery and Früh Kölsch.

For international presentation at trade shows of Phoenix Contact, a modular assembly system with LED panels has been developed. For this a 250,000 LEDs have been used.

2008
About 4000 branded stores of Toto Lotto GmbH in Baden Württemberg were switched to the new Corporate Identity. Since the beginning of the year our section of project execution fully looks after the Generali Insurance.
For the brewery Bosch, Detmolder brewery, privatebrewery Glaab, Kirner privatebrewery and Zwiefalter brewery new outdoor light signs concepts were developed and converted to success.
Many new displaylights especially for toys and the carsupplyindustry were developed and successfully introduced to the market.

2009
For Germany and Austria were within 2 months 15 500 light boxes for the television channel Sky produced. The adaptations of the sports bars of Premiere to the new appearance Sky was
implemented by ST-service in the shortest possible time.
For the Würzburg and the Bavarian Brewery, Holland was a new developed appearance in the advertisement and implemented.

2010
The 70 Struck-Leuchten employees and another ca. 120 employees of the associated companies would be happy to tackle new projects with you.
